Ray Lankford Booking Agent Details
Ray Lankford is a former MLB outfielder who played for the St. Louis Cardinals and San Diego Padres from 1990-2002 and 2004. Playing primarily for St. Louis from 1990-2001, he was elected to the Cardinals Hall of Fame in 2018 and is the only player in franchise history to have hit 200 home runs and stole 200 bases. In his 14-year career, Lankford had a .272 batting average, hit 238 homers and stole 258 bases. In 1992 and from 1995-1998, Lankford stole at least 20 bases and hit at least 20 home runs. In 1991, he came in third for Rookie of the Year voting.
After back-to-back 40-steal campaigns in 1991 and 1992, Lankford began to show his power, as between 1994 and 2001, he failed to hit more than 19 home runs only once. In 1997 and 1998, he hit 31 home runs both years and knocked- in 98 and 105 RBI, respectively. Lankford’s performance in 1997 earned him the lone All-Star selection of his career while he came in 16th across the league in MVP voting. Lankford was traded to the Padres in 2001 and played on the west coast through the 2002 season. After missing all of 2003 due to a hamstring injury, he rejoined the Cardinals in 2004 and, in his last MLB at bat on October 3 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, hit a pinch hit home run.
