Russell Wilson is a NFL quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. He played collegiately at NC State from 2007-2010 and Wisconsin in 2011. Originally only a two-star recruit out of high school, Wilson was a third round selection by the Seahawks in the 2012 NFL Draft. Wilson is a six-time Pro Bowler and was named NFL Rookie of the Year in 2012 after a 3,118-yard, 26-touchdown season. In only his second NFL season, Wilson led the Seahawks to Super Bowl XLVIII. He threw for 206 yards and two touchdowns as Seattle crushed Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos, 43-8. Wilson built on his rookie campaign that season, throwing 26 touchdowns with only nine picks.

The Seahawks returned to the Super Bowl in 2014 but were defeated in the final seconds by the New England patriots, 28-24. He owns the NFL record for most regular season wins by a quarterback in his first seven seasons with 75. Wilson also owns Seattle Seahawks franchise records in highest career passer rating and lowest percentage of passes intercepted. He has supported multiple charitable organizations in his career, including the Boys & Girls Club of America and Seattle Children’s Hospital. Wilson attended Collegiate School in Richmond, VA and was twice named the Richmond Times-Dispatch Player of the Year. He married R&B singer Ciara in 2016.
