Adam Graves is a retired hockey player who is best remembered for his time with the New York Rangers from 1991-2001. He also played for the Edmonton Oilers, San Jose Sharks and Detroit Red Wings. Graves won two Stanley Cups, one with the Oilers in 1989-1990 and the second with the Rangers in 1993-1994. For his career, he amassed 287 assists and 329 goals. In 2009, Graves was slotted as the 13th best Rangers player ever in a book titled “100 Rangers Greats”.

Graves was born in Toronto, Ontario and played Junior B hockey with King City, Ontario. He played for the Ontario Hockey League’s Windsor Spitfires in 1985-1986 before being drafted in the 1st round of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft by the Red Wings. He continued playing for the Spitfires in 1986-1987 and helped lead them to the OHL Championship. In 1987-1988, Graves continued playing for Windsor but was also sent to Detroit to play nine games.
