Bo Jackson Booking Agent Details

Vincent Edward "Bo” Jackson, born on November 30, 1962, is a retired football and baseball star. He is the only professional athlete in history to be named an All-Star in both football and baseball. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest athletes of all time. Jackson was originally drafted first overall in the 1986 NFL Draft by Tampa Bay but declined to play for the team. As a result, Jackson entered the following year’s draft and was selected in the seventh round (183rd overall) by the Los Angeles Raiders.

In 1991, Jackson suffered a hip injury that ended his football career. In four seasons in the NFL, Jackson rushed for 2,782 yards and 16 touchdowns for an average 5.4 yards per carry. He also caught 40 passes for 352 yards and two touchdowns. His 221 yards on November 30, 1987 is still a Monday Night Football record.

In baseball, Jackson was a career .250 hitter with 141 homers and 415 RBI during eight seasons as a designated hitter and outfielder with the Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angeles and Chicago White Sox. In 1989, he was named MVP of the baseball All-Star Game and, during his career, hit 20 home runs in four different seasons. Among his notable baseball achievements…

AL All-Star (1989)
1989 All-Star Game MVP
1993 AL Comeback Player of the Year Award
10th in the 1989 AL MVP race
30-Home Run Seasons: 1 (1989)
20-Home Run Seasons: 4 (1987–1990)
20-Stolen Base Seasons: 2 (1988–1989)
100 RBI Seasons: 1 (1989)

During his time in college playing at Auburn, Bo rushed for 4,303 career yards, the fourth best performance in SEC history. He finished his career with an average of 6.6 yards per carry, a SEC record with a minimum 400 rushes. In 1985, Jackson ran for 1,786 yards, the second best single-season total in SEC history. That year, Jackson won the Heisman Trophy. In 1996, Jackson was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

In 1989, Jackson's name became known beyond sports as a result of the “Bo Knows” advertising campaign, a series of Nike commercials promoting a cross-training shoe starring Jackson and musician Bo Didley. The campaign helped make Bo an icon both on and off the field and led to various endorsement deals and small roles in television shows and movies.
