Deion Sanders is a retired NFL and MLB player who currently works as an NFL Network analyst. He was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 6, 2011. Nicknamed 'Prime Time' and 'Neon Deion', he played football primarily at cornerback, but also as a kick returner, punt returner and occasionally as a running back or wide receiver. He played in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons, the San Francisco 49ers, the Dallas Cowboys, the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Ravens, winning the Super Bowl with both the 49ers and the Cowboys. An outfielder in baseball, he played professionally for the New York Yankees, the Atlanta Braves, the Cincinnati Reds and the San Francisco Giants, and participated in the 1992 World Series with the Braves.
Sanders attended Florida State University, where he excelled at both football and baseball. He grew up in Ft. Myers, FL, attended North Fort Myers High School and was an All-State honoree in football, baseball and basketball. He was named in1995 to the Florida High School Association All-Century Team, which was comprised of the top 33 players in 100 years of Florida high school football.
