Bobby Hebert played quarterback in the NFL from 1985-1996 for the New Orleans Saints (1985-1992) and Atlanta Falcons (1993-1996). In 1987, he led the Saints to their first playoff berth and winning season in team history. Hebert was named a Pro Bowler in 1993 while playing for the Falcons and is a member of both the Saints Hall of Fame and Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.

In total for his career, Hebert passed for 21,683 yards with a passer rating of 78. Prior to the NFL, Hebert starred in the United States Football League (USFL) with the Michigan Panthers (1983-1984) and Oakland Invaders (1985). In 1983, he led Michigan to a USFL Championship and was named MVP of the title game. The USFL’s all-time passing yards leader (10,039), Hebert was honored as the league’s most outstanding quarterback in 1983 and was named to the league’s All-Time Team (second team).

Born on August 19, 1960 in Cut Off, Louisiana, Hebert played college football at Northwestern State. In 1998, he was inducted into the school’s Graduate “N” Club Hall of Fame. After retiring from playing, Hebert embarked on successful broadcast career, hosting a radio show in New Orleans on WWL-FM 105.3 and WWL AM 870.
