Pat Swilling Booking Agent Details
Pat Swilling played linebacker in the National Football League for the New Orleans Saints (1986-1992), Detroit Lions (1993-1994) and Oakland Raiders (1995-1996, 1998). A five-time Pro Bowl selection (four with New Orleans and one with Detroit) and two-time first-team All-Pro, Swilling enjoyed most his success with the Saints. He led the NFL in sacks in 1991 and was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year that same season. He finished his career with 490 tackles and 107.5 sacks.
Swilling was born in Toccoa, Georgia and went to high school at Stephens County High School. He played college football at Georgia Tech, where he was a first-team All-American in 1985 and set an NCAA record for most sacks in a game with seven. He also recorded the most sacks ever in a season (15) in school history and was Georgia Tech’s all-time sacks leader when he was done playing college football (Swilling is now ranked fifth). After retiring from football, Swilling embarked on a political career and won a special election in 2001 to join the Louisiana House of Representatives. He served until 2004. Swilling is a member of both the College Football Hall of Fame and Saints Hall of Fame.
