Brian Mitchell Booking Agent Details
Brian Mitchell spent 14 years playing in the National Football League from 1990 – 2003 as a running back and return specialist, including 10 seasons with the Washington Redskins. Mitchell also spent three seasons playing for the Philadelphia Eagles and one season playing for the New York Giants. In 223 games, Mitchell tallied more than 23,000 all-purpose yards, which is ranked second in NFL history. Additionally, he recorded 13 special teams touchdowns, which also is ranked second on the all-time NFL list.
Mitchell won a Super Bowl with the Redskins in 1992 and was named All-Pro three times and to the Pro Bowl in 1995. In 2009, Mitchell was inducted into the Redskins Ring of Fame and was named a member of Washington’s 70th Anniversary Team. He played college football at the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now known as the University of Louisiana at Lafayette).
Upon retiring from football, Mitchell launched a successful sports broadcasting career on tv and radio. Today, he serves as a co-host and analyst for many Redskins-focused shows, including Countdown to Redskins Training Camp, Redskins 100 and Training Camp Daily. He’s also an analyst for NBC’s local coverage of the Redskins, including Redskins Kickoff Live and Redskins Postgame Live and is co-host of a midday show on WTEM Radio, better known as The Team 980.
