Everson Walls is a former NFL defensive back who played from 1981-1993, winning a Super Bowl with the New York Giants in 1990. Walls was a four-time Pro Bowler and three-time All Pro during his career and played for the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns and Giants during his career. He attended Grambling State University, joining the Tigers football team as a walk-on. He was signed by the Dallas Cowboys, for whom he played from 1981-89, as an undrafted free agent and went on to lead the NFL in interceptions during his rookie and sophomore campaigns.

Walls again led the league in picks in 1985 and is just one of two defensive backs to do so three times in their career. His five seasons of leading the Cowboys in interceptions is also a franchise record. Walls played a big part in the Giants’ triumph over Buffalo in Super Bowl XXV, as the Giants defeated the Bills, 20-19. He was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated in the aftermath of the win.His 57 career picks ranks 10th all-time in NFL history. Walls is a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference Hall of Fame and the Grambling Legends Sports Hall of Fame.
