Hakeem Olajuwon Booking Agent Details
Hakeem Olajuwon played center in the National Basketball Association for the Houston Rockets (1984-2001) and Toronto Raptors (2001-2003). He led the Rockets to back-to-back NBA titles in 1994 and 1995. Nicknamed “The Dream”, Olajuwon is considered one of the greatest centers in NBA history. He was a 12-time NBA All-Star and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2008. He led the NBA twice in rebounding and three times in blocked shots.
Olajuwon was born in Lagos, Nigeria and came to the United States to play college basketball at the University of Houston. Despite not being heavily recruited, Olajuwon developed into an All-American and, along with future Hall of Fame teammate Clyde Drexler, helped lead the Cougars to back-to-back NCAA Championship games, where they lost to NC State on a last-second shot in 1983 and Georgetown in 1984. He was the first overall pick by the Rockets in the 1984 NBA draft that included Michael Jordan, John Stockton and Charles Barkley.
