Jonathan Quick is an NHL goalie who was selected in the 3rd round of the 2005 draft by the Los Angeles Kings. He made his NHL debut on December 6, 2007 and went on to help the team win two Stanley Cup titles in 2012 and again in 2014. Quick in 2012 won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the NHL’s playoff MVP. A three-time All-Star (2012, 2016 and 2018), he has been nominated twice for the annual Vezina Trophy, presented to the NHL’s top goalie. In 2013-2014 and 2017-2018 seasons, he won the William M. Jennings Trophy.

During the Kings’ first Stanley Cup run in 2011-2012, Quick went 35-21 during the regular season and posted a career-low goals against average of 1.95. He was similarly effective two seasons later during the 2013-2014 campaign when Los Angeles went on to win another championship when he posted a 27-17 record and 2.07 goals against average.

In international competition, Quick won an Olympic silver medal representing the United States on the ice at the 2010 Winter Games held in Vancouver. Quick also represented the U.S. at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi as well as the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. Quick was born on January 21, 1986 in Milford, Connecticut and played college hockey at the University of Massachusetts.
