Kirby Smart Booking Agent Details
Kirby Smart was named head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs in December of 2015. Under his leadership, Georgia won the SEC East title and conference championship in 2017 as the Bulldogs went 13-2, winning the Rose Bowl but losing to Alabama in the national title game. In 2018, the Bulldogs won the SEC East title for the second straight year, finishing with an 11-3 record and an appearance in the Sugar Bowl.
Before taking over the head coaching duties at Georgia, Smart coached at Alabama under Nick Saban, first overseeing the defensive backs in 2007 and then from 2008-2015 as defensive coordinator. During that time, he won three national titles. While at Tuscaloosa, Smart won the Broyles Award - the first assistant in Alabama school history to win the honor - and AFCA FBS Assistant Coach of the Year Award.
Prior to coaching, Smart played defensive back for Georgia in college from 1995-1998, where he earned first-team All-SEC honors as a senior and started his coaching career there as an administrative assistant in 1999. From 2000-2001, he coached at Valdosta State before becoming a grad assistant under legendary coach Bobby Bowden at Florida State from 2002-2003. He coached the defensive secondary under Saban at LSU in 2004, the running backs at Georgia in 2005 and worked again for Saban as an assistant with the Miami Dolphins in 2006 before moving with him back to the college ranks at Alabama.
