Marques Colston is a retired NFL wide receiver who played his entire career from 2006-2015 with the New Orleans Saints. Colston is the Saints’ all-time leader in yards from scrimmage, receptions, receiving touchdowns and receiving yards. He amassed 1,000 yards or more receiving in five of his 10 years in the NFL and had 900 yards or more receiving seven times.

Colston was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team and finished runner-up in NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year voting after the 2006 season when he had eight touchdowns and 1,038 yards. In 2009, Colston caught 70 passes for 1,074 yards and nine touchdowns as New Orleans advanced to Super Bowl XLIV. In the game, he had seven grabs for 83 yards with the Saints emerging victorious for the franchise’s first championship by defeating Indianapolis, 31-17.

Colston played college football at Hofstra and was selected by the Saints in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft with the 252nd pick. He immediately became a staple in the Saints’ offensive schemes, registering at least 1,000-yards in six of his first seven seasons in New Orleans. He retired after the 2015 season and has since been active as an investor, especially in the Arena Football League, where he has had minority ownership stakes in the Philadelphia Soul, Albany Empire and Atlantic City Blackjacks.
