Devin McCourty played safety for the New England Patriots for 13 seasons from 2010 – 2022. McCourty won three Super Bowl rings (XLIX, LI, LIII) with the Patriots, playing in and starting every single game for New England during their three championship runs. He holds the NFL record for postseason starts by a defensive player. McCourty was named second-team All-Pro three times (2010, 2013, 2016) and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2010 and 2016.
After being picked by New England in the 1st round of the 2010 NFL Draft, McCourty started all 16 regular season games at safety, posting 89 tackles and seven interceptions, the latter of which proved to be a career-best. For his efforts, McCourty was named to the Pro Football Writers Association All-Rookie Team.
In December of 2022, McCourty became just the fourth defensive back in NFL history to start 200 career games with one team. He is a member of both the Patriots All-2010s Team and All-Dynasty Team. McCourty played college football at Rutgers from 2005-2009. As a senior, he won first-team All-Big East honors for the 2009 season.
McCourty is the twin brother of former NFL player Jason McCourty. Together they’ve hosted a podcast called. Double Coverage with the McCourty Twins. Off the field, McCourty has served on the board of Boston Medical Center.
