Herman Moore Booking Agent Details
Herman Moore played wide receiver for the Detroit Lions from 1991-2001 and the New York Giants in 2002. Moore was a four-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro. He also twice led the NFL in receptions in 1995 and 1997 and was Detroit’s all-time record leader in career receptions until Calvin Johnson broke it in 2015. In total for his career, Moore recorded 670 receptions for 9,174 yards (13.7 yards per catch average) with 62 touchdowns. He was inducted into the Lions hall of fame (called the Pride of the Lions) in 2018.
Moore was drafted by the Lions in the 1st round of the 1991 NFL draft out of the University of Virginia, where he was a consensus All-American in 1990. Moore is ranked second-all time among UVA football players in receptions for a career and is the leader in receiving yards in a single season. He had his jersey #87 retired by the school. Moore was born in Danville, Virginia and attended George Washington High School where he competed in football, basketball and track and field.
Moore has also enjoyed success of the field. In 2003, he was an honoree on Crain’s Detroit Business 40 under 40 annual list and has been involved with numerous business ventures. He founded the Tackle Life Foundation and has served on the board of the Ally Jolie Baldwin Foundation.
