Nate Burleson Booking Agent Details
Nate Burleson is a former NFL wide receiver, current broadcaster and member of the Seattle Seahawks’ 35th Anniversary Team. He played professionally from 2003-2014 with the Minnesota Vikings (2003-2005), Seahawks (2006-2009), Detroit Lions (2010-2013) and Cleveland Browns (2014). Burleson emerged as Minnesota’s go-to wideout in 2004 as he recorded 68 receptions for 1,002 yards and two touchdowns. In 2005, his final year with the Vikings, Burleson set a then career-high with nine touchdown receptions.
Upon signing with Seattle before the 2006 season, Burleson began to showcase his special teams abilities as a punt and kick returner in addition to wide receiver. In 2007, he caught 50 passes for 694 yards and nine touchdowns. As a punt returner, he racked up an impressive 658 yards on 58 return attempts. Additionally, he returned 26 kicks for 643 yards in 2006 and 27 kicks for 590 yards in 2007.The 2009 season with Seattle saw him reel in 63 passes, his most since 2004. With Detroit in 2011, Burleson was targeted a career-high 110 times, of which he made 73 receptions for 757 yards.
Burleson played college football at the University of Nevada, Reno. During his senior season, he led college football in catches per game and yards receiving and was named AFCA first-team All-America and All-WAC. After his playing days, Burleson began a successful broadcasting career, including work as a color commentator on the Detroit Lions Television Network, NFL Network and the entertainment tv show “Extra”. In 2017, he joined CBS Sports’ The NFL Today.
