Mark Herzlich Booking Agent Details
Mark Herzlich spent seven seasons from 2011-2017 playing linebacker for the New York Giants after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Boston College. Herzilch was a member of the Giants’ team that won Super Bowl XLVI. Born on September 1, 1987, Herzlich attended Conestoga High School in Tredyffrin Township, Pennsylvania, before signing with Boston College. During his time in college, Herzlich was named Freshman All-American by College Football News after recording 42 tackles and one sack. During his 2008 junior season, Herzlich was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and a First-Team All-American along with being a finalist for the Butkus Award.
In May of 2009, Herzlich made public that he had been diagnosed with a form of bone cancer known as Ewing’s sarcoma. A little more than four months later in September of 2009, Herzilch proclaimed on ESPN College Gameday that he was free of cancer. He sat out the 2009 season but returned to play for the Eagles in 2010. In recognition of his fight against cancer, Herzilch received numerous honors, including Disney’s Wide World of Sports Spirit Award, PSWA’s Most Courageous Athlete Award, Brian Piccolo Award, Rudy Award, Ed Block Courage Award and United Way Gridiron Community Champion Award. He was also named “Best Comeback Athlete” at the 2011 ESPY’s. After retiring from playing, Herzilch worked for the ACC Network as a college football analyst.
