Roman Harper Booking Agent Details
Roman Harper is a former NFL safety who played for 11 seasons, mainly with the New Orleans Saints (2006-2013, 2016) but also the Carolina Panthers (2014-2015). Harper played college football at Alabama, where he earned second-team All-SEC honors as a junior and first-team All-SEC honors for his senior season before being selected in the 2nd round of the 2006 NFL Draft by New Orleans. In 2009, his fourth year in New Orleans, Harper made 102 tackles, earning his first Pro Bowl selection in route to helping the Saints to a spot in Super Bowl XLIV. In that game, Harper led the team with eight tackles as New Orleans defeated Indianapolis, 31-17. He reached the title game again with the Panthers when they played the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50.
Harper was again named to the Pro Bowl in 2010, recording 98 tackles and a career-high six forced fumbles. In 2007, he was the recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award. The 2012 season saw Harper set a career-best in tackles with 115 while, in his first season with Carolina in 2014, he posted a career-high four interceptions. Harper became a member of the Saints Hall of Fame in 2020. Off the gridiron, Harper founded the Harper’s Hope Foundation in 2009. After retiring from playing, Harper launched a successful broadcasting career, working for WDSU in New Orleans, Fox 46 in Charlotte and the SEC Network.
